Scientific Advisory Board

In the fall 2011 the DanStem Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) was established.
The overall role of the SAB is to:

  • Monitor the progress and development of the scientific programs,
  • Advice on the strategic direction of the Center,
  • Assist in the establishment of external collaboration.

The SAB meets every second year with the DanStem Principal Investigators (PI). During the meeting, the Executive Director, the PIs and DanStem researchers present the main activities of the Center of the previous year and the planned research and strategic goals of the coming year.
The SAB provides input on the priorities and directions of the research to the Dean and the Managing Director. The SAB report focuses on the overall development of Danstem, ongoing and future research activities, recruitments, training (PhD, postdoc), strategic development,  and center core facilities.
