Are you interested in joining an ambitious, creative, informal, and  highly international and synergistic research environment?

DanStem provides scientists and clinicians with the best possible context to perform cutting-edge basic stem cell research and translate the results from these studies into novel therapies for diabetes and cancer. In relation to this, the center also plays an active role in training undergraduates, PhD students and postdocs.

If you are a highly motivated and engaged student (MSc or BSc level), DanStem might be the place for you. Your background should be relevant to the research areas covered by DanStem, lying within Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Life sciences, Developmental Biology or related areas. You will be part of one of our research groups that works within your area of interest. Contact one of the Principal Investigators to learn more.

We are always looking for highly motivated PhD fellows and postdocs. If there is no open call, excellent PhDs and postdocs may apply by contacting one of the principal investigators. The chances for a position at DanStem is increased significantly if you contact us well ahead. Please contact the Group Leader you wish to work with directly with the following:

DanStem has been established as a result of a series of international recruitments, drawing principle investigators from France, the USA and Sweden along with junior staff from Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Thailand, and United Kingdom. Currently, more than 70% of the employees at DanStem are non-Danes.

The principal investigators and their laboratories are highly regarded throughout the world for their contributions to science. They all have well-established, international collaborations and actively participate in several international scientific consortia.

DanStem’s unique infrastructure, high level mentoring, and international networks makes DanStem an international centre geared toward the creation of a new generation of developmental and stem cell biologists and clinicians.
