Stem Cells - remarkably potent renewals

Meet DanStem's researchers at the Science in the City Festivalen in the Carlsberg City District in Copenhagen from Saturday, June 21 to Thursday, June 26, 2014.

See how cells divide and develop and learn more about the unlimited possibilities that the potent stem cells offer. Not only can they renew themselves, but also you.

In the stem cell exhibition we provide a unique insight into the cells that are both the most simple and the most advanced cells in the body. Meet the zebrafish and find out what this common aquarium fish has  to do with stem cell research, and play with computer models that simulates how stem cells develop into vital organs.

The stem cell exhibition is part of Into the Body - a larger exhibition organized by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Here you can also challenge your brain, touch a heart and find out what your mouth can reveal about you.
