We are seeking a service minded and conscientious student employee to assist in handling various tasks

The Danish Stem Cell Center (DanStem) at Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is looking for a student employee to join the administration starting at March 1st 2017 or upon agreement for one year.

DanStem comprises of two sections: The Novo Nordisk Foundation Section for Basic Stem Cell Biology, where we address basic research questions in stem cell and developmental biology (BasicStem). The second Section for Strategic Translational Stem Cell Research and Therapy (TransStem) is focused on the translation of promising basic research results into new strategies and targets for the development of new therapies for cancer and chronic diseases such as diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and liver failure. Job description 
We are seeking a service minded and conscientious student employee to assist in handling various tasks: 

- Assistance with outreach and public engagement events

- Maintenance of publication lists and manage picture library 

- Assist in data handling for reporting purposes

- Preparation of communication material, posters and leaflets.

- Follow-up on website accuracy

- Managing of info boards

- Practical help in connection with meetings and events 

You will be part of the administration team and will work closely with all administrative staff members. 

We expect you to work approximately 10 hours per week. 

Qualifications 
You are stable, responsible and detail-oriented. 

Experience using Adobe Photoshop and/or the Illustrator, would be considered an advantage.   

You are service-minded and enjoy working in a multi-cultural research environment. 

You have good communication skills in English and Danish.

The employment requires that you are enrolled and active student at a higher education institution. 

Employment conditions 
Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees –governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK. The current starting salary is DKK 117,88 per hour but will depend on your seniority.
