I am interested in how cells in the developing pancreas are formed and how they are commiting to a specific fate during differentiation. Particularly, I am focusing on understanding how cells get apically polarized and how this affects their differentiation capacity towards for example beta-cells. I am working with conditional KO mouse models to address these questions.
