DanStem provides scientists and clinicians with the best possible context to perform cutting-edge basic stem cell research and translate the results from these studies into novel therapies for diabetes and cancer. In relation to this, the center also plays an active role in training undergraduates, PhD students and postdocs.
We are always looking for highly motivated and engaged students (MSc or BSc level).
Students with background in relevant research areas covered by DanStem, lying within: Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Life sciences, Developmental Biology or related areas are welcome to contact us.
You will be part of one of our research groups that works within your area of interest.

DanStem has been established as a result of a series of international recruitments, drawing principle investigators from France, the USA, Sweden, Germany, Poland and Italy along with junior staff from Belarus, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Sweden, and United Kingdom. Currently, more than 70% of the employees at DanStem are non-Danes.
The principal investigators and their laboratories are highly regarded throughout the world for their contributions to science. They all have well-established, international collaborations and actively participate in several international scientific consortia.
DanStem’s unique infrastructure, high level mentoring, and international networks makes DanStem an international centre geared toward the creation of a new generation of developmental and stem cell biologists and clinicians.
