We are seeking an administrative student assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated office assistant for 10 hours/week, starting from 19 August 2021 or upon agreement with the chosen candidate.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Biology – DanStem has been established as a result of a series of international recruitments coupled with internationally recognized research groups focused on insulin producing beta cells and cancer research already located at the University of Copenhagen. DanStem addresses basic research questions in stem cell and developmental biology and has activities focused on the translation of promising basic research results into new strategies and targets for the development of new therapies for cancer and chronic diseases such as diabetes and liver failure. The office assistant is expected to assist with the following tasks:
- Preparing digital and printed communication material
- Follow up on web accuracy (via SiteImprove)
- Supporting internal impact data management
- Supporting internal and external event organization.
Qualifications and qualities
Candidates are expected to be currently enrolled in an educational program (active students).

As an office assistant in the Research Support Team, you will work closely with administration and scientific staff and have the opportunity to develop your cross-disciplinary collaboration skills in an international environment.
Success in the position requires reliability, attention to detail, high work ethics, good organizational skills, a willingness to learn, a service-minded attitude and enjoying a multi-cultural environment. Experience using MS Excel and digital editing tools is an advantage. Excellent English is essential.
Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees –governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK/STAT, labor grade 1. Salary is DKK 127,17 per hour (April 2021-level). Varying working hours is to be expected, but the average working hours is ten hours per week.
