DanStem Seminar by Paul Trainor

Dr. Paul Trainor, Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology The University of Kansas School of Medicine, USA

Title: Neural Crest Cells and their roles in vertebrate development, evolution and disease

Dr. Paul Trainor has recently focused on pathologies emerging from neural crest defects, known collectively as neurocristopathies. “One of the first things an embryo does is start making a head,” he says. “Many cell types have to be integrated, so from an anatomical perspective there is a big likelihood of encountering problems.”
