DanStem is seeking a service minded and conscientious student to assist in handling various administration tasks

The Danish Stem Cell Center (DanStem) at Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is looking for a student to join the administration starting at March 1st 2016 or upon agreement for one year. 

DanStem comprises of two sections: The Novo Nordisk Foundation Section for Basic Stem Cell Biology, where we address basic research questions in stem cell and developmental biology (BasicStem). The second Section for Strategic Translational Stem Cell Research and Therapy (TransStem) is focused on the translation of promising basic research results into new strategies and targets for the development of new therapies for cancer and diabetes. Job description
We are seeking a service minded and conscientious student to assist in handling various tasks:
- Practical help and in connection with meetings and events
- Handling material in connection with events
- Maintain publication lists and manage picture folder
- Screen press and info media
- Photo editing for web use and tasks in connection with intranet pages
- Ad hoc tasks

You will be part of the administration team and will work together with all administrative staff members.

We expect you to work approximately 10 hours per week. 

-You are stable, responsible and detail oriented.
-You work systematically and thoroughly.
-You are service minded and conscientious and enjoy working in a multi-cultural research environment.
-You are able to communicate in English and Danish.
-You are enrolled in an institution of higher education.

Employment conditions
Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees – governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) under HK.
